I am a Chartered Certified Accountant with a degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. My work as an accountant has led me to senior finance positions in a range of industries, but it was in 2021 that I decided to move to the third sector and use my experience to make an impact in an organisation that aligns with my values and my passion for contributing to positive change. I am fortunate to have achieved this with my current role as Director of Finance in an innovative education charity with an inspiring mission.

It was while working in the charity sector that I was fortunate enough to have access to a professional coach to support my leadership development. Whilst I had practiced yoga with an element of meditation for several years primarily for movement and flexibility, I hadn’t appreciated, until my coach encouraged regular meditation the impact that mindfulness can have. It has been transformative for me. My role as Trustee is to support the Network deliver on its vision in a financially responsible yet ambitious way. I would like to play a role in sharing mindfulness with as wide a network as possible and can see the impact and integrity that the Network brings.
In my personal life, I am a mother to three wonderful children, a partner to an aspiring musician, and have a passion for yoga and being outdoors. I live in South Wales.
