In September 2027, the current format of the Training Pathway will be replaced by a new, redesigned Pathway model, building on established strengths and ensuring it remains relevant to the needs of mindfulness teachers applying this work in practice.
During this transition, from April 2026, Bangor University CMRP will host and deliver the Training Pathway. Mindfulness Network courses will run as planned until then, with continued offerings available through CMRP in 2026–27, supporting current trainees to complete the existing Pathway.
If you are currently on the Training Pathway:
- All training and retreats required to complete the Pathway in its current format will be available between now and September 2027.
- Bookings will continue to be made through the Mindfulness Network up to March 2026. From April 2026 onwards, training events will be hosted by Bangor University, with bookings soon to be available through Bangor University’s website.
- After September 2027, the current format of the Training Pathway, including the TTP, will conclude. This means that the window to progress through or complete the existing Pathway is open until September 2027, with the final deadline for portfolio submissions on 31st December 2027.
- A full list of training dates for this two-year transition period is available in the updated 2025–2027 Trainee Handbook.
This transition has been carefully designed to ensure continuity for current trainees, enabling completion of the Training Pathway before September 2027, while also opening the door to new opportunities to strengthen and expand mindfulness training in the future.
